The MOSAIC project aims at studying and defining efficient and scalable mobile data offloading and caching mechanisms in collaborative networks. The main objective is to tackle the challenging issue of the quality of service and experience of end-users (operators, providers or clients) when exchanging big amounts of data through wireless and mobile collaborative networks. A novel and innovative aspect is to define smart monitoring techniques and architectures for the existing offloading issues within the current mobile data surge. We plan to evaluate our approach on an emulated network as well as using a real French platform.
